We feel that time is the only asset that we can give you to completely absorb the tranquility and splendor of the Grand Canyon. It is in this time that we’ll guide you along a flat, easy trail so you can enjoy the Grand Canyon as Mother Nature intended; peacefully along a winding trail where the edge of earth touches the faint blue sky.

You will learn during this walk that the Grand Canyon transcends beyond borders and frames as sunlight brushes shadows over clouds, rocks, and trees, careful to never paint the same surreal scene twice. The trail is away from the large tourist groups and runs west of Grand Canyon Village. None of the big commercial tour buses have access to this section of the park so the lookout points won’t be overrun with tourists. Grand-Adventures.com is the only company that gives our guests THREE FULL HOURS at the Grand Canyon. We don't believe in driving all that way only to spend two hours there. Our tours are designed to enhance your Grand Canyon experience. This will enable you to see and do much more then you would on an unguided tour. The tour guide will carry your picnic lunch in a backpack and set up lunch somewhere along the trail. We always like to remind our guests that the more you eat at lunch, the lighter their pack will be the rest of the day! They will also point out hidden lookout points, good picture spots, and explain how the Grand Canyon formed. |

We cap our group sizes so that we can move the group much faster. This enables us to be much more flexible with our tour and to let you see more on your Grand Canyon tour. It also allows the group to interact much more closely then they would if they were in a large group. |

The picnic lunch is one of the main characteristics that separate our Grand Canyon tours from all other Grand Canyon tour companies. We will stop along the trail and set up lunch right on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The sandwiches are HUGE and there is plenty of food to eat. Most people save half of the sandwich for the ride home. We do not believe in the type of hospitality that leaves people still hungry after a scheduled meal. These were never part of the original tour package and started by accident. They are very popular but because of this demands have gotten out of control with people asking to change out the photos or telling us they don't want the CD and would rather have $25 off the price. We try our best to get one out to everyone, especially those who we know will enjoy them for what they are. We DO NOT use stock photos and all pictures are original to the day of your tour! We include a McDonald's breakfast in your Grand Canyon tour (and all other tours) with Grand-Adventures.com. You can eat as much as you like. We use to serve the continental breakfast but we learned that we ended up losing more travel time by doing this. Our guests ended up ordering food at gas stations, asked to stop, or walked to nearby places to get a bite to eat. Plus, everyone at Grand-Adventures.com came from families where it was only proper to stuff the guests with food; a la a "sliver" to Grandma was half the pie - and Lord help you if you asked for ice cream! |

We will make a 10-15 minute photo stop at Hoover Dam on our way to the Grand Canyon. We stop at the lookout point closest to the dam, which overhangs the Colorado River. You'll be surprised that the dam is much smaller then it looks on TV or in those bad Superman movies. |

We will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel, timeshare, or casino for your Grand Canyon tour. We can also make arrangements to pick you up at a private residence if you are staying with friends. |

Your tour will included a fully guided tour, where a tour guide will walk you along the rim, point out hidden lookout points, take pictures of your group, and explain how the Grand Canyon was formed. The walking tour is about is between 2-3 hours. We allow another hour for people to explore Grand Canyon Village, look at the buildings, and do some shopping! |

This is a time based stop. We will stop if we have time. Have you seen the Disney movie "Cars"? Well, Seligman, Arizona is a very famous place but still hidden from mainstream tourism. John Lassiter, the producer of Cars, spent quite a bit of time here and many of the characters from Cars are based on REAL PEOPLE from Seligman. It's also home to the real Angel of Route 66. There was a time in America when Route 66, the first major road project and interstate road in America that connected Chicago to Los Angeles, fell by the wayside. It took a true Angel to lobby Congress to recognize Route 66 as a National Historic site. Angel Delgadillo is the Angel of Route 66 and his efforts virtually saved the route from extinction.
