ZION CANYON is a hidden gem located just three and a half hours northeast of Las Vegas. Zion Canyon was formed by the north fork of the Virgin River and represents over 150 million years of geological erosion. Zion in an ancient Hebrew word meaning a place of refuge or sanctuary. While our tours to Grand Canyon stay on the upper rim trail, our tours at Zion focus on a hike right through the belly of the canyon along the Virgin River. It’s after a good day’s hike through Zion that you realize that it is a sanctuary of amazing beauty and character. Every one of our customers who have taken a trip to Zion have enjoyed it more than their trip to Grand Canyon. While the Grand Canyon is perhaps the most spectacular, natural sight-seeing adventure in the world, Zion Canyon boasts a much better outdoor hiking adventure. It offers extremely enchanting sites like Emerald Pools, Hanging Garden, the Narrows, and Angel's Landing. We are also able to swim in the river in the summertime to cool off. Zion Canyon is great for all of those hikers who want a harder hike while enjoying one of the nicests parks near Las Vegas. We are very fortunate to have such beautiful national parks near our good, clean-living town of Las Vegas!

We are the only company that offers a full day trip to Zion Canyon. We decided to do that after realizing that Zion is well worth a full day visit. We don't believe in driving to any park for a photo opportunity. We believe in driving to a park so we can see, enjoy, and experience it. We know that this will enhance your Zion Canyon experience. The tour guide will carry your picnic lunch in a backpack and set up lunch along the trail. We may also opt for the buffet lunch during inclimate weather (and will cover the cost). They will also point out the best vantage points to take pictures and explain how Zion Canyon was formed.

We cap our group sizes so that we can move the group much faster. This enables us to be much more flexible with our tour and to let you see and do more on your Zion Canyon tour. It also allows the group to interact much more closely then they would if they were in a large group.

..FULLY GUIDED WALKING TOUR by grand-adventures.com

Your tour will included a fully guided tour, where a tour guide will walk you through Zion Canyon, where you can take pictures, visit the enchanting places in Zion and explain how it was formed. The hiking tour takes between 3-5 hours to complete, depending on the time of the year.

..MCDONALD'S BREAKFAST in las vegas, nevada

We include a McDonald's breakfast in your Zion Canyon tour (and all other tours) with Grand-Adventures.com. You can eat as much as you like. We use to serve the continental breakfast but we learned that we ended up losing more travel time by doing this. Our guests ended up ordering food at gas stations, asked to stop, or walked to nearby places to get a bite to eat. Plus, everyone at Grand-Adventures.com came from families where it was only proper to stuff their guests with food. A "sliver" to Grandma was half the pie - and Lord help you if you asked for ice cream!

..DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE on your zion canyon tour

We will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel, timeshare, hostel, motel, or casino for your Grand Canyon tour. Unfortunately, we cannot pick up or drop-off at private residences or the airport for security reasons.

We don't add junk fees onto our price such as fuel surcharges, park entrance fees, or an other miscellaneous service fees. The price is final and you will not be billed one dollar more then this price.

..PICNIC LUNCH on your zion canyon tour

The picnic lunch is another one of the distinctive features that separate our Zion Canyon tours from all other tours. We will stop along the trail and set up somewhere in the belly of Zion Canyon. The sandwiches are HUGE and there is plenty of food to eat. Most people save half of the sandwich for the ride home. SAFETY NOTE: We do not recommend any of our tours for anyone with physical disabilities that limit or restrict mobility or if you have heart or respiratory problems. The Grand Canyon is located at 7,000 feet in altitude and has very thin air. You will need to provide a letter from your doctor clearing you to walk at 7,000 feet altitude if you have heart, respiratory, or physical disabilities. We also do not recommend our tours for handicap individuals as we will be walking between 2-3 miles.

FOOD NOTE : We provide Arby's Market Fresh sandwiches. The cookies are made from scratch and baked fresh daily by Albertson's supermarket.

TRAVEL NOTE: Please bring a book or another forms of entertainment. It's a very long, scenic drive to the Grand Canyon but one of the few destinations that you'll see that actually lives up to its hype. The scenery will change 3-4 times and those who don't choose to sleep normally talk to each other.

WALKING NOTE: We reserve the right to change or alter the walking route for any reason and may not visit the lookout points above. The main reason for altering a course usually involves inclimate weather during the winter time, where we'll still spend 3-4 hours inside the park but drive to different lookout points . Please contact us immediately if you feel that your tour was cut short by the tour guide so that we can resolve this issue with you.
